Sourabh Hajela
is an award winning thought leader, management consultant, trainer and entrepreneur with over sixteen years of experience in strategy, planning and delivery of IT Capability to maximize shareholder value for Fortune 50 corporations across major industries in North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Hajela is experienced in creating enterprise wide IT Capability driven by the entire range of business situations such as new market entry, business process reengineering (BPR), post merger integration and cross process integration. Representative clients in the Financial, High-Tech and Manufacturing industries have included: Prudential, Citibank, Bank of America, Allmerica, Solomon, Smith Barney, HP, MCI and IBM.

Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Hajela was Vice President, head of e-Business, with Prudential Financial. He has held leadership positions with top-tier consulting firms, such as A.T. Kearney and Booz, Allen & Hamilton, marketing and leading engagements in strategy, e-business and IT-Strategy. He also served as Brand Manager for a high-tech company in India.

In addition to consulting, Mr. Hajela is a member of the faculty at University of Phoenix and DeVry University, teaching MBA courses in strategy, marketing, e-business and leadership. He also designs and delivers courses and courses through DCI.

Mr. Hajela is also an Expert Advisor with the CRMCommunity and TAC.

Mr. Hajela has designed and delivered courses in Corporate Strategy, Sales, Marketing, IT Strategy, IT Transformation, e-Strategy and "Strategy driven systems" to executives and management consultants. Most prominent among the venues was the SITP Academy at A.T. Kearney.

Mr. Hajela was recognized for his thought leadership by being awarded the A.T. Kearney Intellectual Capital Silver Medal for 1999.

Mr. Hajela's current research interest is in a business focused, quantitative approach and associated frameworks to create IT Capability to maximize shareholder value, with special emphasis on the measurement and monitoring of IT investment returns. He has authored white papers on IT Strategy, e-Strategy, IT investment management, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture Planning, Systems Strategy, Vendor Relationship Management, ERP Package Selection, and Enterprise Implementation. He is currently working on a book on IT Strategy.

Mr. Hajela received a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Marketing and Management Information Systems from Syracuse University. His Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Process Engineering is from the Indian Institute of Technology.
